Childcare Partnership
While we recognize that you are the most important teacher in your child’s life – our goal is to work together to build a strong, trusting relationship – so that we can support your child’s continued growth and development.
To build our great partnership we focus on:
Mutual Respect: Staff and families respect each child’s personality and abilities. They also respect each other’s differences, cultures, and backgrounds. We listen to our families and work hard to understand their goals and concerns for their children.
Communication: Open communication between our parents and our staff is key to your child’s success and development. We connect daily with our families through the Tadpoles App, in-person conversations, phone calls, and email. A detailed orientation packet is given to families in advance of enrollment and a parent orientation is held the week before a child starts the program. We also host monthly parent events, send regular newsletters, and update our parent information board frequently with center and community events.
TadPoles: We use the free tadpoles® family mobile app to give our parents peace of mind and important information. Parents receive real-time notes and reminders plus they can review daily reports, photos, and videos of their child throughout the day.
Open Door Policy: Parents and approved extended family members may visit IPELC at any time they wish without prior approval.
