To whom it may concern,

I would like to provide my glowing recommendation of the Irving Park Early Learning Center. I have two children at the center – one in toddlers and the other in Pre-K – and they are both very happy. My older child has been a student at IPELC since she was a toddler herself and has learned so many things including (but not limited to) counting, the alphabet, music and songs, Spanish-language counting and music, social skills, manners and listening, how to be a member of a team, arts and crafts, imaginative play, etc. She comes home with stories and songs all the time. My son is in the toddlers class now and has been very comfortable in his transition to a daycare environment. The teachers are gentle and kind and use techniques such as redirection when he is having difficulty with his peers (as little ones are apt to do!). The school provides updates and the office has an open-door policy making it easy to voice any concerns or get administrative support when needed. I’ve had very few complaints over the years and very much recommend IPELC to anyone in the area looking for reliable and friendly care for their child!

To Whom It May Concern:

My son has been part of the Irving Park Early Learning Center since he was 4 months old. Liam is now 4 years old and currently enrolled in the 3 – 5 year program. It is hard being a working parent and trusting someone else with your child but thankfully we were lucky enough to find a place that truly loves and cares for our child. He is very well-adjusted boy who loves being with his friends and being at school. He has been part of every classroom at IPELC and grown with his friends. The majority of kids in the 3-5 year program have been there since infants and they have all grown up together. It is a real sense of community and we are very thankful for that.

The teachers at IPELC are loving, caring and really invested in the children. We are always updated on his progress, his day, behavior etc. The teachers provide structure, daily lessons and a great curriculum. We love that they have a private playground but also take nature walks, plus doing field trips thru-out the school year. We will miss the school and teachers dearly as they are family to us.

Thank you,

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing in reference to Irving Park Early Learning Center. I have two sons who currently attend the center. My four and a half year old started when he was three months old and my two and a half year old has been at the center since he was fourteen months old. Suffice it to say, they have spent the majority of their lives at the center.

I feel very happy with our choice to attend IPELC over the years. The teachers and staff have always treated my children with compassion and care. We have grown up with other families who have also been at the daycare as long as my children have. The friendships that my kids have developed with these families, as well as with the staff, make the center feel like one big family.

My kids have had many teachers over the years. No matter who the teacher is, they have shown so much consideration and concern towards my boys. I like how the teachers structure the days with circle time, story time, center time, nap time, snack time, etc. I never feel like things are frantic or chaotic when I stop in. I’ve also seen so much creativity on the part of the teachers and staff with the projects my kids are constantly engaged in.

Finally, I feel like IPELC is not just a daycare center to watch over children, but it is a real learning institution. Both of my kids have learned (or are learning) the alphabet, their numbers, days of the week, an appreciation of books and science and so much more. I’m amazed at the amount of information they discover each and every day.

Every child is unique. Every family has its own set of circumstances. For my children and for my family, IPELC has been the right place for us. I will always be indebted to them for starting my children off on the right path in life, in a loving and nurturing environment. You can contact me through my e-mail address

My son, Henry, has been attending the program since he was 11 weeks old.

There are many things that my husband and I like about IPELC. The most important thing, of course, is that my child is well-taken care of, and of this I have no doubt. My son loves going to school. Every day – even when he hasn’t been having the best morning – he is happy when we get to the center, and he gets a huge smile on his face when he sees his teachers. When I arrive to pick him up, he is almost always having fun and enjoying himself.

Another thing that I like about the center is the fact that the lead teacher in my son’s room, Ms Ericka, talks to me at drop-off most mornings about what Henry likes to do during the day, what they are working on with him, and how he is doing overall. I appreciate that she takes the time to do this, and that we are able to work on things – such as encouraging him to hold his own bottles or drink out of a sippy cup – as a team.

The final thing that I will mention is that I whenever I have had a question, an issue, or a request, it has been addressed. As a first time parent, there have been many times when I’ve been anxious about one thing or another – about illness, how my child is napping, etc. Whenever I have brought up an issue to the director or to the staff in the infant room, it has been resolved to my satisfaction, and I appreciate this.
